Earn your Skating Merit Badge at the Utah Olympic Oval in Kearns! They offer a Scout Skate Program that is taught by a qualified skating instructor. This special program for scouts includes:
- 30-minute group lesson
- Skate rentals (if needed)
- Free skate time for the remainder of the public session
Admission is $8 per scout
Reserve your space during any regularly scheduled public skating session:
- Tuesdays 7pm – 9pm
- Saturdays 1pm – 3pm
As you plan this activity, keep in mind:
- 24-hour advanced reservation is required and a minimum of 3 scouts is required
- Wear your uniform to identify yourself as a scout
- It may take more than one lesson to pass all the skills necessary to earn your badge
