Greeting Cards for Eagle Scouts

One of my twin boys just finished his Eagle project over the weekend and was looking for a way to say Thanks to those who helped with this effort.  Coincidentally, I got an email last week from a company who thought my blog readers would be interested in knowing about greeting cards for Eagle Scouts.  What timing, wouldn’t you say?!  Check ‘em out…

Greeting Card Universe has a pretty large selection of high quality cards for Eagle Scouts, including Invitations for the Eagle Scout Court of Honor Ceremony, Congratulations cards for new Eagle Scouts, and Thank You cards in support of an Eagle Project.  Several even have the option to upload a photo or edit the message text to make it personalized.  Price per card is $3 with an extra $1 if you want it shipped to yourself with a blank envelope.  Otherwise, it’s standard postage rates to have it sent to directly to the recipient.

In browsing through the selection at GreetingCardUniverse.com, I believe these cards are different than the ones I wrote about before.  Having not handled one of these cards myself, the GCU product seems to be more like the 5×7 folded card you’d buy from Hallmark or American Greetings (especially with the glossy finish option that does not appear to increase the cost).  If that’s the kind of card you’re looking for, this is a pretty cool deal for an uncommon type of card you’d struggle to find for such an occasion.

By the way, if you happen to be involved in scouting enough to be sending Congratulations cards more frequently than most, they offer discounts on larger quantities with bulk shipping rates.  See their website for specific details.  I don’t know if you can mix-n-match different greeting cards on an order, but that would sure sweeten the deal for me!
